Overview
SOSi has supported full-scale communications
intercept missions for nearly 20 years. Our staff
is proficient in the use of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)
systems that provide live feed and taped communications
intercepts. SIGINT is a key tracking device used to
address new, ongoing and imminent developments in
direct support of military planning and operations,
policy-making, law enforcement investigations, national
security objectives and a variety of other missions.
Our specialists use SIGINT technologies to monitor
live, court-authorized wiretaps, interpret Federal
and state court proceedings and depositions and translate,
transcribe, interpret and validate intercepted telephone
communications.
We help enhance the capability
of U.S. law enforcement, defense and intelligence
agencies to pursue counter-narcoterrorism investigations
in regions such as the Middle East, South America
and Africa, assist with the development of organized
crime task forces and develop the capacity of foreign
policing institutions to create more effective programs
and manage intelligence-gathering facilities to target
corruption and illegal activities.
In addition, our specialists are
experienced in deciphering obscure criminal codes
and jargon, unique language dialects and vocabularies.
Our interpreters’ ability to pick up on such subtle,
but important conversational nuances have proven critical
in generating tactical operations and criminal conversations
for use as evidence in judicial proceedings.
