SOS INTERNATIONAL WINS CONTRACT FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE TERM TO SUPPORT AIR FORCE OPERATIONS IN KYRGYZSTAN
September 24, 2010

RESTON, VA – For the third consecutive term, SOS International (SOSi) was awarded a contract by the U.S. Air Force 376th Air Expeditionary Wing (AEW) to provide local facilitation and technical interpretation/translation services to Air Force personnel at Manas Airbase in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. This five-year contract is a follow-on to a contract that was first awarded to SOSi in 2005, and re-awarded to SOSi in 2007. SOSi employs more than 40 full-time personnel and provides support across all of the functional sections of the command from air traffic control to public affairs.

When asked about the award, SOSi Vice President Marvin Furusho said, "SOSi is thrilled to remain the incumbent on this important contract. The Air Force remains one of our cornerstone clients, and we look forward to maintaining our relationship with the 376th AEW." Mr. Furusho went on to say, "I think our work speaks for itself. SOSi has maintained exemplary performance on this program, which has evolved in both complexity and scope over the past five years. This win is directly attributable to the hard work of our team in Kyrgyzstan."
