U.S. ARMY EUROPE AWARDS SOS INTERNATIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT CONTRACT

RESTON, VA - SOS International Ltd. (SOSi) has been awarded a three-year, $39 million contract by the U.S. Army in Europe (USAREUR) to provide a wide array of intelligence and technology support services throughout Europe, the Caucuses, and Africa. Its partners include Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.

The contract calls for services in support of the USAREUR/7th Army Intelligence Directorate that include analysis, operations and planning support, security support, and information systems operations and management.

“This contract represents a significant diversification of our core business, and is our largest footprint yet in Europe,” said Marvin Furusho, a senior VP at SOSi. “We look forward to supporting our nation's military in what clearly remains a highly complex part of the world."

The USAREUR Intelligence Directorate provides support to land forces in the European Command theater of operations and provides oversight and staff supervision of subordinate intelligence organizations and activities.
