DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE AWARDS SOS INTERNATIONAL TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES CONTRACT

RESTON, VA - SOS International (SOSi) has been awarded a contract by the Department of Defense to produce and manage official transcripts of U.S. Government press conferences and media events in Iraq.
The SOSi team will work closely with the Defense Department's Combined Press Information Center (CPIC) located in Baghdad, which works closely with the Arabic media, and handles all public affairs inquiries related to U.S. military efforts in Iraq.
Over the course of the past year, SOSi has made significant inroads towards becoming a primary source of media analysis and communications advisory services. SOSi provides professional consulting services to senior U.S. Military leadership in both Iraq and Afghanistan, and is involved with a number of programs aimed at gauging public perceptions of U.S. Government diplomacy and military programs overseas. SOSi has also established a network of partnerships around the world with firms that provide opinion survey analysis and media communications and research, in an effort to provide a broader set of turnkey services to its growing list of clients in the Defense, Intelligence and Law Enforcement sectors.
