SOS INTERNATIONAL HIRES FORMER STATE DEPARTMENT SENIOR FOREIGN SERVICE OFFICER TO SUPPORT STRATEGIC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

RESTON, VA - SOS International Ltd. (SOSi) has hired Mr. William V. Parker, a former Department of State Senior Foreign Service-level Minister-Counselor, as Senior Consultant to support its strategic business development initiatives. Mr. Parker retired from the State Department after more than 30 years of service. During his tenure, he served in embassies in India, the Ivory Coast, the Philippines, U.S. NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, Trinidad and Tobago, and Suriname, performed multiple tours in Washington, DC and participated in special TDY assignments throughout the world. He also served as the former Foreign Policy Advisor to General James E. Cartwright, former Commander of the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM).
Mr. Parker is a results-oriented career diplomat and practitioner of public diplomacy, communications and behavioral management and has been recognized in both the public and private sectors for his thoughtful leadership. In his newest position with SOSi, "Mr. Parker will play a critical role in building partnerships with public and private sector organizations to further reinforce SOSi's established lead in providing Media Analysis/Engagement and Public Affairs consulting services to the Defense, Intelligence and Diplomatic communities," said SOSi's Chief Operating Officer, Julian M. Setian.
