SOS INTERNATIONAL WINS KBR SUPPORT CONTRACT

RESTON, VA - SOS international (SOSi) has been awarded a $9 million subcontract by Halliburton subsidiary, Kellogg, Brown and Root Inc. (KBR), under the U.S. Army's Logistics Contractor Augmentation Program (LOGCAP), to provide personnel screening services for ongoing projects in Afghanistan. The contract calls for SOSi to assist in the screening of labor force workers in locations throughout the country.
LOGCAP is a U.S. Army initiative for the use of civilian contractors in wartime and other contingencies. These contractors perform selected services to support U.S. forces in support of DoD missions worldwide. Use of contractors in a theater of operations allows the release of military units for other missions. This program provides the Army with additional means to adequately support the current and programmed forces.
