USAF AWARDS SOS INTERNATIONAL $2.2 MILLION LABOR AUGMENTATION CONTRACT
MAY 6, 2005

RESTON, VA - The US Air Force awarded SOSi International (SOSi) a $2.2 million contract today to provide linguist management support to the 376th Air Expeditionary Wing at Ganci/Manas Air Base in Northern Kyrgyzstan (named after Peter Ganci, the late Chief of the New York City Fire Department who died in the World Trade Center attack on September 11, 2001). SOSi personnel will support the Base logistical, security, and air traffic control operations. The contract is for a base period plus two option years.

"Our plan is to use the program we were awarded at Ganci Air Base to establish a much larger presence in Central and Southwest Asia, and to pursue several other larger programs that are going to be solicited by USCENTAF in the coming years" said Julian M. Setian, SOSi's Chief Operating Officer. "Several logistical and base services programs that we plan on pursuing currently fall under the AFCAP umbrella (referring to the "Air Force Contract Augmentation Program" managed by Readiness Management Support, Inc.)."
