DEA AWARDS SOS INTERNATIONAL $20 MILLION CONTRACT TO PROVIDE TITLE III OPERATIONAL SUPPORT TO ITS DALLAS FIELD DIVISION
March 15, 2005
RESTON, VA - The US Drug Enforcement Administration awarded SOSi International (SOSi) a five-year, $20 million follow-on contract to provide Title III operational support to the DEA's Dallas Field Division. The company will continue to provide program management and staffing services for consensual and non-consensual electronic surveillance operations in numerous DEA worksites throughout northern Texas and Oklahoma. If all of the options under the contract are exercised, it will result in at least 10 years consecutive service to the Dallas Field Division.
"SOSi has been providing Title III support to the DEA since the company was founded in 1989. This was one of the first competitive contracts ever awarded to SOSi," said Julian M. Setian, SOSi Chief Operating Officer. "We are extremely proud of the role that we play in our nation's counter-drug strategy, and are pleased that the DEA Dallas Field Division awarded this contract to our firm again. It demonstrates that they are pleased with the good work that we have done there for the past five years."
